A creative, historical, and narrative project exploring the nexus of sex work and psychedelics from the perspectives of sex workers known to either administer psychedelics to clients or orient their erotic labor within the psychedelic.

We seek to bring the expertise and wisdom of Psychedelic Sex Workers to bear on the psychedelic conversation and to give shape to the category of PSW for it to be of use to PSWs themselves, researchers, and others.

Who we are

A project by Emily Alice, Hunter Leight, and other Psychedelic Sex Workers.

ea works at the intersection of drugs, erotics, and care. She is a ritual specialist, spiritual care provider, and teacher-minister. She was formed in that work through her upbringing in the Midwestern Country Cruise Tradition, her years working as a Bay Area sex worker, cooperative movement organizer, and psychedelic facilitator within a Mexican Medicina Sagrada tradition, as well as through her experiences as a Single Mother and Divinity School student. www.ahoy.coop

Hunter Leight is a coach, chaplain, and parent. She has been a sex worker and organizer for over 15 years and co-facilitates the Sex Worker Sangha, an online Deep Refuge meditation group hosted by the East Bay Meditation Center. She is the author of “A Sex Worker’s Liturgy”, published in 2024 by Working Girls Press in The Holy Hour: An Anthology on Sex Work, Magic, and the Divine.
